JPT has developed and is currently testing a surface injection control module for water and polymers. This system enables wells with a single injection zone to regulate injection into multiple wells using just one pump.
The modular TLPR uses a tandem regulator module with multiple regulators featuring special geometrical shapes and expansion chambers or dampers. This design allows precise control of polymer and water injection rates based on differential pressure and orifice size.
The technology has been patented and has already been successfully used in over 4,000 valves.
The complete TLPR (Tandem Linear Pressure Regulators) module includes three different TRGV regulator modules arranged in parallel, allowing for easy and flexible operation and selection. The cost of this module is at least three times lower than standard coiled regulators used for polymers.
