JPT Consulting resumed the development of cased-hole logging tools in 2024. As part of this strategy, it began developing a tool to measure water injection (ILT) in completions with mandrels inside and outside the completion. Development leading to the initial prototype was completed in May, and manufacturing of the Beta prototype tool began for running in wells and acquiring data. Additionally, the basic logging software developed initially in 2015, named BLAS, was updated, improving as well telemetry and the surface acquisition panel. The plan is to have the tools assembled to un them in trial wells by August-September of this year.
